What a fantastic estate find! Vintage KORET is an old department store brand that was very popular with preppies & hipsters in the 80s. The fabric is a cotton blend in a pastel plaid with every color of the rainbow and features a polo-style collar that has coordinating color stripes. The shirt has pretty pearlized bottoms and one front pocket on the left. The shorts are high waisted and feature two hidden pockets and are flared to resemble a skort. Styling this would be a lot of fun.
Condition: Outstanding vintage with virtually no wear. (I have seen the top online before, but they are always super faded.) This one has zero fade and resists wrinkles.
Measurements (approx)
Shirt - Bust is 42”, shoulder to hem is 26” and the sleeves are 9.5”
Shorts - waist (un-stretched smocked elastic) is 26”, waist to hem is 20”, inseam is 8”
